Your Privacy Choices

Data Not Used for Training

Your prompts, conversations, and generated content are never used to train AI models. We act as a proxy to upstream providers and do not retain your data for model improvement purposes.

Data Retention

Request logs are retained for up to 30 days for debugging and abuse-prevention purposes, after which they are permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting our support team.

API Key Security

Your API keys are encrypted at rest and never exposed in plaintext after creation. We recommend rotating keys regularly and using scoped keys for different environments.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. No third-party advertising cookies are used. Preferences and theme settings are stored locally on your device.

How does Pelton AI route requests?

Pelton AI acts as an intelligent proxy that routes your API requests to the optimal provider based on model availability, latency, and cost. You can also bring your own API keys (BYOK) to use your existing provider accounts directly.

What data is shared with upstream providers?

Only the content of your request (messages, parameters) is forwarded to the upstream model provider to generate a response. We do not share your account information, usage history, or any personal data with providers.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete your conversations, generated images, and projects from within the app at any time. To request full account deletion including all associated data, contact our support team.

How is billing calculated?

You are billed per token used, at the rates displayed on each model's detail page. Pricing is broken down into input tokens (your prompt) and output tokens (the model's response). You can monitor usage in the Settings > Usage section.

What are BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) accounts?

BYOK lets you connect your own provider API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) so requests are billed directly to your existing accounts. This gives you full control over costs and provider relationships while still using the Pelton AI interface and features.
